In terms of mechanics, that's fine, though it's nice if the game gives me incentives to try out radically different builds (ie what Supergiant does with their games with giving rewards for trying every new toy out, or challenges or areas that require vastly different tactics to get past even if it's post-game). Defeating the middle enemy followed by the frontliner will cause the backliner to run away and hand you the victory.A thing I dislsike about having parties large enough that you need to swap people out is that inevitably I end up just not ever using some characters. The enemy team's front and middle enemies will waste their attacks on Kabbu while their backliner hands out meaningless buffs to them. Vi then uses Hurricane Toss for massive damage and uses a Berry Smoothie whenever the party's TP gets low. Every single turn, Kabbu taunts and Leif puts a Bubble Shield Lite on him. Unused medal points can go towards TP Plus or TP Cores. Giving her your attack-increasing berries or visiting Patton to switch them around to her also helps. You could also go for a Poison Attacker strategy or get her to 4 hp or less before the fight to use the Last Attack medals. Enhancer is great because she's going to be spamming multi-hit moves.ĭeep Taunt to lower enemy armor (one of the enemies in this fight has 3 points of armor) There's a bunch of different medal setups you could go with depending on how many MP you have, but here's a few recommendations.Ī.D.B.P. It doesn't matter how low her hp or defense go because she won't be getting hit. You want Vi to have the most attack power possible through medals. The strategy I went with is pretty simple. I bought a bunch of Dark Cherries from the underground tavern and Tangy Berries from Metal Island to cook them together into Berry Smoothies. At this point of the game my bank account was maxed out so I completely cheesed the fight.
